Government Chargepoint Grants (OZEV)

Grants of up to £500 per charge point are available from the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) until 31 March 2027. They are open to renters and flat owners with off-street parking, households with only on-street parking (using a cross-pavement solution), landlords, and businesses, charities and public sector organisations through the Workplace Charging Scheme. Homeowners with their own driveway aren’t currently eligible, but we can still advise on the best charger for your home.

Red Flame Electrical Ltd is an NICEIC Approved Contractor and an OZEV authorised installer. Our team will ensure that your charge point is installed to the latest wiring regulations (BS 7671). We are also manufacturer approved (Rolec, myenergi zappi & Project EV). We can advise on your installation and take care of the grant application for you.

How to proceed?

The quickest and easiest way to proceed with an electric vehicle charge point install is to get in touch with us, Mobile/WhatsApp: 07976 602606.  Give us a call and we can ask a quick few questions to check whether you are eligible for a grant. From there we will organise a free site visit to talk through your options and to check out your current electrical install and discuss possible charge point locations and methods for install. We will put together a quote and clearly show any grant discount and a final price. We then begin the paperwork process on your behalf if required and your charge point is usually installed within 14 days.

We’re manufacturer approved for many of the vast array of chargers available on the market today, and can advise on the best option for your car and home.

We check your supply and fuse board during the free site visit. If an upgrade is needed we’ll explain why, and we handle notifying the network operator for you.

Your charge point is usually installed within 21 days of confirming, and the installation itself normally takes a day.
